Dumelang Bagaetsho. We hope you are well and staying safe wherever you are. 1. END OF YEAR REPORT The past year has been a rollercoaster for the Botswana Student Union community. Before the start of elections for a new committee, it is necessary to present an "end of year" report of the work that the current committee strived to achieve and the progress of those goals. Doing so ensures transparency with the community as well serves as a handover document to the upcoming committee. The report will soon be made available on the website. 2. COMMITTEE & ADVERT The BSU is looking for motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to fill the roles of the BSU Committee for the upcoming academic year. This is an opportunity for you to improve the university experience of Batswana studying in the UK & Ireland. As a committee, you will be a liaison between the Botswana High Commission and Batswana students. Other roles include planning celebrations and tournaments throughout the year. With assistance from the high commission, you can come up with solutions to assist those in need. The role of being a regional representative is another opportunity for you to contribute to the improvement of Batswana students in your region. The PDF gives a description of each role as well as the different regions in the UK and Ireland. Before a link will be sent out to apply, a team meeting link will be provided in the next coming week to allow students a chance to ask the current committee members questions and find out more about their roles and experiences. If you have any questions, you can contact us via email. (botswanasu@gmail.com)
